Power Couples Event Begins Now for One Week!
Ever heard of Balance Patches? Forget them for now because we’re introducing our first-ever Imbalance Patch! To celebrate Valentine’s Day, we’re supercharging the Power of our favorite Power Couples in the game – but only for a limited time!
- Starts: Right Now! Make sure to close and reopen the app if you don’t see it.
- Ends: February 20th, 10 AM Pacific
Power Couple is a temporary keyword we’re adding to the game that gives a card’s better half bonus Power. Here’s how this all works with one of the power couples. Let’s say you have a deck with both Daredevil and She-Hulk:
- Daredevil [2/2]On turn 5, you get to see your opponent’s plays before you make your own.
- +2 Power Couple: She-Hulk
- She-Hulk [6/10]Costs 1 less for each unspent Energy last turn.
- +2 Power Couple: Daredevil
When you first play Daredevil, She-Hulk gets +2 Power immediately, wherever she is. On the board, in your hand, or in your deck, because love works in mysterious ways! Likewise, the first time you play She-Hulk, she’ll give Daredevil the same boost. If you can get both of them onto the board, that’s a total of +4 Power (+2 to She-Hulk, and +2 to Daredevil)! And yes, it works on copies of cards. So if you have a Daredevil card on the board and two She-Hulks in your hand, that’s +2 Power to each She-Hulk.

Unlike your love for roses and chocolates, this special event won’t last forever, so jump into the game and feel the power of love (and Power boosts)! Make sure to snap your opponents on turn 1… They should learn that love sometimes hurts.
